About Us

        ERIC T. REEPS, SRA, President of Eric T. Reeps Appraisals, Inc. is a SRA with special expertise in the greater Metropolitan region.  Prior to opening his firm fifteen years ago, he worked as an appraiser for residential and commerical.  Reeps attended Long Island University, studying Computer Science, and is a member of numerous organizations including the National Association of Real Estate Appraisers, Senior Member of the Appraisal Institute, The New York Association of Mortgage brokers and the Empire State Mortgage Bankers Association.  Reeps holds the designation of Senior Residential Appraiser (SRA).  He is New York State Certified and HUD (FHA) approved.  Eric is also co-chairman of the Rod Gilbert Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.  

        WALTER J. KLOSE, SRA, Senior Vice President and Partner of Reeps Appraisals, Inc., supervises the firm's appraisal staff and is responsible for reviewing all appraisals.  Prior to joining Reeps, Inc., in 1984, he was a staff appraiser with a large savings institution where he appraised both residential and commercial properties.  Klose is a graduate of Long Island University with a degree in Management and is completing an MBA in Finance at St. John's University.  Walter is on the board of directors of the Alumni Association for C.W. Post College.  Klose holds the designation of Senior Residential Appraiser (SRA), is New York State Certified and HUD (FHA) approved.
